16th Street Baptist Church Bombing 53rd Anniversary

September 15th marks the anniversary of a terrible tragedy in our history. On this day fifty-three years ago, during a service at the 16th Street Baptist Church titled, "The Love That Forgives," members of the KKK set off explosives that killed four little girls: Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson and Denise McNair.

In honor of their memory, the NAACP asks that you, people of all color, pledge to register 16 new voters on Friday, September 16.
